One of the hot topics in the industry continues to be mobile technologies, which are being implemented on both the gaming and resort sides of the industry. For example, smart phones and related devices provide near-endless opportunities for casino/resort operations to facilitate business and customer development while keeping costs down.

Social networking is another cutting-edge technology that is being adopted on a more widespread basis by the gaming industry. Summit sessions will explore these tools from a different perspective than might be found elsewhere.

In all, the Summit offers 30 information-packed conference sessions and keynote presentations during its two-day run. These include a dedicated track of nine sessions organized by presenting sponsor Gaming Standards Association.

GSA Program and Workshop

GSA is an industry trade group which facilitates the development and implementation of open standards that pave the way for industry growth. The goal of the Summit’s special GSA session track is to provide information on GSA standards and to discuss how they can be quickly implemented in new products for the gaming industry.

On May 24, the day before the Summit begins, GSA is also offering a workshop which is open to all attendees. The morning workshop is a meeting of the Operators Advisory Committee, where you can observe how GSA develops standards based on the business needs of gaming operators.

The afternoon workshop features an unbiased debate of technical innovation and the impact it has on casino operations. A central focus of the discussion will be how innovations such as the new Player User Interface can generate increased revenue. Join more than a dozen industry experts as they share their insight!
