Valley Forge Casino Resort Presented Ceremonial Check to Upper Merion Township Foundation

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. ― Valley Forge Casino Resort President and CEO Saverio “Sal” R. Scheri presented a ceremonial check for $88,060 to the Upper Merion Township Foundation at the April 26 township supervisors meeting in King of Prussia. The check represents net revenue generated by the casino during its two test nights in the days leading up to the casino’s opening on March 31.

“From day one, Valley Forge has made it a top priority to give back to our community,” Scheri said. “Upper Merion Township is a great place to live, work and play. We’re proud to help our community grow and prosper in anyway we can.”

Pennsylvania’s only Category 3 casino resort, Valley Forge contains two hotels ― The Casino Tower and The Radisson Hotel Valley Forge ― and the Valley Forge Convention Center. The Radisson offers 326 rooms, 28,000 square feet of meeting space, and expert wedding planners who design some of the most beautiful and elegant weddings anywhere. Formerly the Scanticon Hotel, The Casino Tower is an ideal place for world-class conferences, as well as a destination for couples and families to relax and refresh. It features 160 deluxe guest rooms and suites, a new signature spa and fitness center, and an outdoor garden pool. Located in the Casino Tower, the convention center provides over 100,000 square feet of meeting, convention and exhibit space.

Valley Forge provides resort guests with no less than seven different dining options, including the upscale surf-and-turf dining at Pacific Prime; Italian specialties at Viviano; and three micro-restaurants, Asiannoodle, Italian Market and American Grill. Valley Tavern and Nosh Deli are located in the Radisson. Cameo Lounge will be the newest entertainment venue to open, joining the casino’s stylish Center Bar and 7 The Nightclub. The area’s hottest nightclub, 7, is setting a new standard for service and features the hottest DJs.

Affordable annual and seasonal membership plans are now available online at: www.vfcasino.com/resort-memberships. Annual dining and entertainment memberships (priced at $59 and $69, respectively) offer a free meal or show, invitations to special events, and discounts at the resort’s restaurants and entertainment venues. Significantly, all memberships provide unlimited access to the casino floor for the member and a guest during the term of the membership.
