Top execs from Bally, GLI Headline Gaming Technology Summit Keynotes

LAS VEGAS – The keynote lineup is set for the tenth annual Gaming Technology Summit to be held at the Green Valley Ranch here June 11-13, and it includes top executives from Bally Technologies and Gaming Laboratories International, two of the gaming industry’s most influential companies.

Making keynote presentations will be Ramesh Srinivasan, President and Chief Operating Officer, Bally Technologies; James Maida, President and CEO, Gaming Laboratories International; and Andrew J. Cardno, CTO, BIS2.

“This superb line-up of keynote speakers will give Gaming Technology Summit attendees the most in-depth possible look of how key technologies are transforming gaming, now and in the future,” said Saverio R. Scheri III, founding partner of WhiteSand Gaming and President, Valley Forge Casino Resort. “While they will be forward looking, each of our keynoters will also discuss what is both probable and possible for operators to benefit from technologically in the here and now.”

Srinivasan of Bally will provide the opening keynote on June 12, and use the occasion of the Summit’s 10th anniversary to deliver a speech on, “Gaming Technology, the Next 10 years.” Maida, whose independent testing firm GLI has played an instrumental role in the testing and certification of online and mobile gaming products globally will present the luncheon keynote entitled, “Interactive Gaming Technology and its Jurisdictional Impact,” on June 12. Cardno, an acknowledged expert on business intelligence solutions for the industry, will present the luncheon keynote on June 13, in a speech entitled, “Analytics and Insights, Business Intelligence Success Strategies.” The top three finishers in Casino Journal’s Top 20 Most Innovative Gaming Technology Products contest, as well as the Attendee’s Choice award winner, which will be voted on at the show, will be announced prior to lunch on June 13.

The three keynotes are part of a program that includes 25 information-packed conference sessions and workshops during its three-day run. Highlighted speakers include Mike Wood, who returns with a new workshop, Resolving Project Pain Points, on June 11, and Mark Wayman, who is popularly known as the Godfather of Las Vegas, for his unique ability to connect gaming companies and high-level job seekers. Wayman will present a comprehensive view of gaming career development, from the job search to what it takes to keep one’s career moving forward on June 13. There will also be networking opportunities available throughout the event, including a Welcome Reception on the show floor from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on June 12, which includes 25 companies representing a broad range of technologies. The expo hall will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on June 12 and from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on June 13.
