Bob Boughner, Executive Vice President and Chief Business Development Officer of Boyd Gaming will be a keynote speaker at the 2014 Gaming Technology Forum November 3 – 5 in Las Vegas at Green Valley Ranch Casino.   He joins the two other keynote speakers, Geoff Freeman, President of the American Gaming Association and Curtis Levinson, US Cybersecurity Adviser to NATO.

Bob Boughner is a 36 year veteran of Boyd Gaming and led the development and successful opening of Borgata, Atlantic City’s leading destination resort and continues to oversee the property’s operations. In his current position, he oversees Boyd’s new business development efforts, including expansion into new markets. In addition, he also oversees much of Boyd Gaming’s corporate administrative and support departments, and is a member of the company’s Board of Directors. The Borgata is the most successful casino in Atlantic City and was one of the first casinos in the US to launch an online casino for residents of New Jersey.

“We are thrilled to have Bob Boughner present the luncheon keynote address on November 4. Bob is a true visionary in the gaming industry. He is one of the very few executives that understands all aspects of this industry in keen detail while at the same time distinctly understands the big picture and where the industry is heading. He is an innovator in so many areas of casino gaming, from property design to technology solutions, and everything in between. Many of the business practices he created are now emulated by other gaming corporations”, said Saverio Scheri, President of WhiteSand Gaming, producer of the Gaming Technology Forum.
